What is Butyl tape?

Butyl waterproof tape is made of butyl rubber as the main raw material and other additives. It is a lifetime non-curing self-adhesive waterproof sealing tape that is processed through advanced technology. It has strong adhesion to the surface of various materials. At the same time, it has excellent weather resistance, aging resistance and water resistance, and it has the functions of sealing, damping and protecting the surface of the adherend. The product is completely solvent-free, so it does not shrink or emit toxic gases. Because it does not solidify for life, it has excellent follow-up to the thermal expansion and contraction of the surface of the adherend and mechanical deformation. It is an extremely advanced waterproof sealing material.

What is the  Butyl tape used for?

1) The overlap between the color steel plate and the lighting board of the steel roof, and the sealing of the joint of the gutter.

2) The doors and windows, concrete roof and ventilation ducts are sealed and waterproof.

3) Installation of PC board and endurance board.

4) Adhesive, sealing and anti-vibration of waterproof film for automobile doors and windows

5) Single-sided tape can also be used to repair leaking parts such as roofs and cars.
