Have you ever wondered how to use all the paper tapes in your handicraft collection?

Here are some ways to use Washi Decorative Tape:

1、Decorate Journal Pages

Washi Decorative Tape is a great way to add some quick decorations to the diary page. I use it to tie the color themes together along the sides of the page and superimpose them on each other to get a very simple collage effect.

You can cut the washi tape into neat edges or tear it apart to get a lovely rough edge appearance. With just a piece of washi tape, you can easily add beautiful colors to the diary page.

2、Create Page Markers and Tabs

We can folded a piece of paper tape on the top of the paper sheet to make it stick slightly from the top of the journal.

For some substantive content,there are some steps to  created page tabs. The first step is to stick paper tape on thick paper or cards. The next step is to cut off the label. You can use scissors to cut them yourself, or if you plan to make a lot, you can consider using TAB cutters.Then, you will see a series of beautiful labels that are perfectly combined with the washi tape you use to decorate your diary paper. If you use ordinary paper tape, you can even write on top of it.

3、Secure Tip-in Journaling Cards

The diary reminder card can be added to the diary page very well. You can add a private diary below, paste photos or just use them as an extra decoration. Just add a piece of paper tape on both sides of the card and fold it open.

4、Create Neat Edges

If your washi tape is really sticky, try touching it with the pants a few times to remove some of the stickiness. This will prevent you from damaging the journal page when you delete the tape.

Next, use some pens to draw lines on the page, making sure to place the pen on top of the two washi tapes. The brush allows you to create beautiful thick lines.

Finally, carefully peel off the paper tape to reveal the cute and neat edges. I am using the page to take notes, but this is very effective for any type of journal spread.

5、Decorate Gift / Journaling Tags

For this project, you will need some solid color gift or luggage tags, and some paper tape.We can wrapped the label with tape and added other decorative stickers. These can be used as gift tags or post-it diary cards. Try different strips of paper to achieve endless combinations.
